Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Position
📍 Lexington, NC | 📅 2026–2027 School Year
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in Lexington, North Carolina for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills in an engaging educational setting.
Position Overview:
The SLP will work with students across various grade levels to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (CFY candidates encouraged to apply)
- School-based experience a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
