Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in a dynamic school environment. Currently, there are two openings for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists, each offering unique settings and rewarding caseloads.

One position focuses on serving K–5 students at a traditional elementary school, carrying out direct therapy, conducting evaluations, and managing IEP goals for young learners. The other role is based in a K–12 school dedicated to students with disabilities, where specialized interventions—such as AAC and working closely with multidisciplinary teams—make a daily difference for students with more complex communication needs. These full-time roles follow standard school hours.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Experience supporting elementary-age students or specialized populations strongly encouraged
  • Confident in developing and managing IEPs, conducting comprehensive assessments, and providing targeted therapy
  • Collaborative attitude with strong communication skills to partner effectively with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy in accordance with student IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting progress
  • Develop and update IEP goals to align with student needs
  • Collaborate with special education staff, general educators, and related service providers
  • Engage with families to support student progress and outcomes
