School Speech Language Pathologist - Salisbury, NC
Take the next step in your career by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Two exciting contract opportunities are available—each offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in student lives through assessment, therapy, and collaborative intervention.
One position focuses on serving K–5 students in a traditional elementary school setting, where you’ll engage directly with children, conducting evaluations, providing individualized therapy, and guiding IEP development. The second involves working with K–12 students who have a wide variety of disabilities, supporting them through specialized interventions, adaptive communication systems (AAC), and multidisciplinary teamwork to help them reach their fullest potential.
Your expertise in communication disorders, assessment, and therapy will enable students to find their voice both inside and beyond the classroom.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, with K–5 populations at the elementary level, or with low-incidence and specialized student groups.
- Ability to manage and document student evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver group and individual therapy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct assessments and determine unique speech-language needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services, adapting interventions for individual student goals.
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to support student progress.
- Develop and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment.
Experience the satisfaction of empowering students to succeed and flourish. If you are passionate about fostering communication skills, adaptable to diverse caseloads, and eager to contribute your expertise, submit your application today. Let’s shape brighter futures together!
