Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP in Maine
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred, though motivated new graduates with CCC are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of K-12 students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Conduct required assessments, maintain accurate records, and contribute to team meetings and progress reports
- Advocate for students’ needs within the school setting and guide staff in supportive strategies
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery
