Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP in Maine
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred, though motivated new graduates with CCC are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of K-12 students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Conduct required assessments, maintain accurate records, and contribute to team meetings and progress reports
  • Advocate for students’ needs within the school setting and guide staff in supportive strategies
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery
