Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Skilled in developing IEPs, progress reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communicator with exceptional organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse PreK-5 caseload
- Engage in collaborative teamwork with a fellow SLP and school staff for coordinated student care
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Attend team meetings and communicate regularly with families and educators to share progress and strategies
- Deliver therapy sessions both individually and in small group settings
