Speech Language Pathologist in Lenexa, KS
Embark on an exciting contract opportunity supporting students across multiple campuses in a vibrant and collaborative educational environment. This full-time, on-site position spans the upcoming academic year, running from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek. There are 3-4 openings available, serving a range of student populations from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Assignments may include coverage of one to three campuses, each with unique specialized programs and caseload sizes, allowing you to apply and expand your expertise in a dynamic school setting.
Essential Qualifications:
- Hold a current SLP license with CCC credentials
- Demonstrated experience working in educational settings, ideally with K-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse caseloads and environments
- Passion for fostering student growth and maximizing communication abilities
- Willingness to consider early childhood assignments (if applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full scope of speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document assessments, services, and progress in compliance with school and district standards
- Provide therapy across specialized programs, supporting students with varying needs and abilities
