Contract positions are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students across elementary and K-12 settings in the greater Kansas City area. These opportunities are ideal for professionals passionate about providing high-quality speech and language services within a school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC from ASHA.
- Experience in a K-12 or school-based setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Comfortable covering multiple campuses (1-3 schools) as assigned.
- Flexibility as caseload specifics may be finalized prior to the new school year.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across assigned schools.
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with school and state documentation requirements.
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and additional specialists to support student success.
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding speech and language development and interventions.
- Work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on-site from August 2026 through May 2027.
