Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience in pediatrics and/or school-based settings preferred
- Proficiency in working with articulation and language disorders
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Previous experience with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Manage a well-defined caseload of approximately 45-50 students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document student progress
- Provide intervention for students with articulation, language, and AAC needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, family members, and other specialists to ensure holistic care
- Utilize teletherapy as needed to reach students effectively
- Support the school team during an FMLA leave, contributing positively to student outcomes
