Supervision and mentorship are readily available for SLPs completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) and for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensure or eligibility as an SLP, including SLP-CCC, CF, or SLPA
- School-based experience is advantageous, but not required
- Willingness to prioritize onsite work, with virtual opportunities available as needed
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency with SPED Track or willingness to learn
- Experience or familiarity with Medicaid billing, including maintaining accurate service logs
- Adaptability to dynamic caseload assignments due to semester changes
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload, with possible middle school involvement one day per week
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and supervisors
- Complete service documentation and logs in compliance with Medicaid requirements
- Participate in scheduled meetings, including alternating Friday morning sessions
- Utilize SPED Track for thorough tracking of student progress and services
Enjoy a great schedule—hours run 8:15am to 4:00pm daily, allowing for consistency throughout your contract, beginning in January and extending through the end of the academic year.
