Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Prior experience in school settings, pediatric populations, and/or healthcare environments
- Proficiency in assessment and intervention for speech, language, and AAC needs
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans suited for diverse school-age learners
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy—either on site or virtually, depending on the assigned opening
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support student goals
- Document progress, maintain IEP compliance, and participate in team meetings as needed
- For the Corvallis opening: Provide expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems to empower non-verbal students
