School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Independence, Oregon
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in school settings. These contract positions support students with a variety of communication needs, extending services from now until June 17th. Whether you’re an experienced clinician with CCC, a new SLP ready for your CFY, or have specialized skills in AAC, your expertise is needed.
Openings are available in two nearby locations. The first position is based in Albany, OR, with a flexible schedule of four days onsite and one day virtual. The second role is entirely onsite in Corvallis, OR, and seeks an SLP with AAC experience. Both roles serve pediatric populations and work within a collaborative school-based team to deliver high-quality care.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current or eligible for Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Oregon
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow (CFY) applicants are welcome
- Pediatric and school-based SLP experience preferred
- For the Corvallis opening, experience with AAC devices is highly desirable
- Collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Engage with families to support student progress
