Pediatric School Speech Therapist | League City, Texas

This contract opportunity is based near League City, TX, offering 37.5 hours per week and a chance to work closely with school-aged children in a supportive, educational environment.
We are seeking a credentialed SLP-CCC with a background in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome communication barriers and achieve their academic goals. Please note: Clinical Fellows and SLPAs will not be considered for this role.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure as an SLP or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Minimum of one year of experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individualized therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal-setting, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Work closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate speech-language services within the school curriculum
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and strategies for success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
