Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving a dedicated K-6th grade population at a single site. You'll work with approximately 70 students, making a meaningful impact on their communication and academic journeys. The assignment starts as soon as possible, with the end date to be determined.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior school-based experience required
- Comfortable delivering services in person and via teletherapy, as needed
- Experience or willingness to supervise an onsite SLT
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-6th grade students
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff
- Deliver services in both traditional and teletherapy environments
- Supervise and mentor onsite Speech-Language Therapy Assistants (SLTs)
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and communications
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and student support initiatives
