Your expertise will make a difference as you provide high-quality direct and teletherapy services to elementary students, collaborating with educators and families to enhance student outcomes. Additionally, you’ll play a valuable leadership role by supervising an on-site Speech-Language Technician (SLT), making a lasting impact on your school community’s success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active SLP licensure in Utah (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is required
- Comfortable supervising an SLT in-person
- Proficiency with teletherapy tools and technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative and organized approach to service delivery
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluation, therapy, and progress monitoring for a K-6 caseload (~70 students)
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Support and supervise on-site SLT, ensuring delivery of high-quality services
- Engage with parents, teachers, and staff to communicate student progress and advocate for speech-language needs
