In this supportive role, you’ll help students reach communication milestones while leveraging your skills in both traditional and teletherapy formats. The position also offers an opportunity to mentor and supervise an onsite Speech-Language Technician, making it an ideal fit for SLPs interested in leadership experience.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Prior school-based SLP experience (required)
- Comfortable working with K–6th grade students
- Willingness to supervise an onsite SLT
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide high-quality speech and language therapy to students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and federal regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Guide and supervise an onsite Speech-Language Technician
- Utilize both in-person and virtual therapy modalities as needed
