You’ll play a critical role in helping students with moderate disabilities achieve success, working with a caseload of approximately 25–30 individuals in an educational setting near Laurel, MD. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Maryland SLP licensure required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience with a school-based caseload, ideally at the middle or high school level
  • Understanding of various speech and language disorders affecting moderate disabilities
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure continuity of care and maximize student progress
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress, evaluations, and service delivery
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Provide consultative support and resources to educators and families
