Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, effective communicator, and team player
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions based on student needs and IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations to monitor progress and update plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive communication environments
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
- Maintain clear, up-to-date records and documentation according to state, federal, and school guidelines
- Educate staff and families on communication disorders and effective support strategies
