Key Qualifications:
- Active and up-to-date Speech-Language Pathologist license meeting Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) – required
- Previous school-based experience as an SLP
- No SLP-CFs or SLPAs will be considered for this role
- Must be comfortable working with a variety of student needs, including behavioral challenges
- Able to reliably commute from a residence within 35 minutes of the assigned school site
- Flexible and committed to being present for all scheduled ESY days and hours
- Ability to attend training and orientation prior to session start
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students during ESY program (Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, June 29–July 30, 2026)
- Attend mandatory pre-session training and Foundations orientation
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to support each classroom’s unique needs
- Serve a diverse caseload and adjust to assignments as student enrollment and needs evolve
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation and progress notes as required
- Contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team focused on student growth
