Step into an impactful role supporting students’ communication needs this summer as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in the greater Levittown and Doylestown area. This opportunity offers a collaborative environment within Extended School Year (ESY) services. You’ll attend onsite training and Foundations orientation late June, followed by a Monday-Thursday schedule from June 29 through July 30, 2026. The focus will be serving students with moderate to severe needs at locations determined by your experience and proximity to your home.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid CCC-SLP licensure, fully meeting Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements
- Prior experience in school settings (SLP-CCC, SLP-School required)
- Proximity by residence within 35 minutes of the assigned site, with dependable transportation
- Comfort working with diverse populations including students with moderate to severe needs and behavioral challenges
- Availability for all scheduled training and ESY dates
- Not previously placed at the site via another agency in the last year
- Strong commitment to punctuality and professional reliability
Preferred Experience:
- History of effective collaboration with special education teams
- Flexibility in classroom or grade assignments, as placements may shift based on student enrollment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language services
- Document and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary educators and related service providers
- Adapt approaches to student-specific communication and behavioral needs
