Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license valid in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with school-based therapy and IEP process
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, positive approach and commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct and consultative therapy for students with a variety of speech-language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support academic achievement
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and advocacy for students
- Utilize evidence-based practices to maximize student outcomes
