Qualifications and Skills:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Valid South Carolina LLR license
- South Carolina Educator Certificate
- Experience working within school settings (elementary focus preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based speech and language services to K-5 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Communicate regularly with educators, staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in school meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
