This contract position offers the opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to students across elementary and middle school grades. Serving students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, this role supports the development of crucial communication skills in a dynamic school environment located in Lancaster, PA.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with students in grades K-8
- Ability to support supervision; availability to take Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators and families
- Familiarity with school-based therapy strategies and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 40 hours per week of direct SLP services to students across grades K-8
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Assist in supervising Clinical Fellows and support their professional development
