Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Yelm, WA

The assignment runs from now through June 12, 2026, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, serving a caseload of 45-50 students across grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington SLP license or a willingness to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or comfort working in a school-based setting with diverse K-12 caseloads
- Fingerprinting through the appropriate agency or willingness to complete this process
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for helping every student reach their potential
- Onsite availability—teletherapy/virtual candidates will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver direct speech-language services to students
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Track data and maintain compliance with documentation and reporting standards
- Consult with educational staff on speech-language concerns and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide initiatives as a valued professional resource
