Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working with children in elementary school settings (grades K-5 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of speech and language evaluation, IEP process, and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech-language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with classroom teachers and parents
- Provide direct therapy services for students with diverse speech and language needs, both individually and in small groups
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for educational planning
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adapt interventions as necessary
