Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – K-12 Schools | Tampa, FL

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide services for K-12 students in a well-established school district near Tampa, FL. This role supports multiple schools over the course of the current school year with varying days assigned per location. Candidates must hold an active Florida Department of Health SLP license and are preferred to have ASHA Certification. SLPA applicants will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across the K-12 spectrum
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Attend required meetings and professional development sessions as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites effectively

Location and Schedule:

  • On-site position in Land O’ Lakes, Florida (near Tampa)
  • Positions available in seven elementary, middle, and high schools with varying weekly schedules (1 to 5 days per week)
  • Contract period: January 5, 2026 – May 29, 2026
  • Full-time or part-time availability considered
