Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Lake Worth, FL
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple school locations in West Palm Beach, FL. This full-time on-site position (35 hours/week) runs through the school year, with placements available across several campuses.
What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Florida SLP license from the Department of Health (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Skilled in developing and delivering individualized education program (IEP) services
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to undergo Florida school district fingerprinting and credentialing, including AHCA Clearinghouse clearance or reprinting as needed
- Ability to attend a prescreen video interview to ensure fit
- Passion for making a difference in students’ lives
Key responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents for comprehensive care and progress monitoring
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Rotate among assigned campuses, serving different student populations as needed
- Foster a supportive and inclusive school environment
