Must-have qualifications and experience:
- Active Florida SLP License granted by the Department of Health
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
- Willingness to undergo Florida school district fingerprinting; familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse a plus
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Commitment to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Comfortable working across multiple locations as assigned
- Successful completion of an internal eligibility interview and prescreen video assessment
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain timely records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create individualized support plans
- Travel between assigned schools as needed
