A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Las Cruces, NM. This contract role spans the full school year (CSY) and involves delivering speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels, collaborating with educators, and supporting individualized student communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings supporting K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common in pediatric populations
