School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Albuquerque, New Mexico

This full-time, contract opportunity (37.5 hours weekly) invites both experienced clinicians and recent graduates to make a positive difference. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (required)
- Active New Mexico SLP license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcomed
- Experience with K-12 populations or a genuine interest in working with school-aged students
- Background in both healthcare and education settings considered a plus
- Comfortable working with diverse caseloads ranging from mild to moderate communication needs
- Strong communication skills, collaboration, and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) addressing each student's unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with district and state requirements
- Provide direct therapy services and periodic progress reporting
- Facilitate parent and staff education sessions to promote speech and language development strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing case management activities
