School Speech Pathology | San Diego, California
Make an immediate impact in the lives of elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive school setting near San Diego, CA. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year, with potential extension into the next academic year for a great fit. You’ll work on a welcoming campus, providing services to an elementary caseload of approximately 30-40 students and collaborating with a dynamic educational team.
Your role will be based at one site (two positions available), with an additional position offering the chance to split your time between two local campuses. Hours are based on building needs, Monday through Friday, with both full-time and part-time scheduling options.
Qualifications:
- Active California SLP certification required
- Experienced SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPA applicants encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dedication to supporting students’ academic, communication, and social success
- Experience with elementary age students preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Travel between sites if required
