- Population: Elementary school students, Grades K-5
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders
- Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
Qualifications
- Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist License
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply, depending on district requirements
- Previous pediatric, school-based, or educational experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
