Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP License required (must be confirmed prior to placement)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active North Carolina DPI SLP License required
- CCC-SLP certification highly preferred
- Proficiency with ECATS is essential
- Familiarity with Infinite Campus is an advantage
- Previous schools-based experience preferred
- Candidates must be available for on-site work only; SLPAs are not being considered
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers and support staff
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation and progress reports in ECATS and Infinite Campus
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families to ensure optimal student support
- Stay current with best practices and professional development requirements
