Your Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Must hold a “G” License from the NC Department of Public Instruction.
- Alternatively, a license from the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be accepted.
- Experience in screening, testing, diagnosis, and collaborative advising in school environments is highly valued.
- CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) applicants are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students of various ages and backgrounds.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP team meetings.
- Provide support and advisement to educators and families regarding student progress.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all state, local, and federal guidelines.
