Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible for a G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • May hold a valid license from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
  • Educational or pediatric experience in school settings is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments for students exhibiting speech, language, or communication concerns
  • Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy for a diverse student population
  • Advise teachers, staff, and families on communication strategies that facilitate student success
  • Maintain detailed documentation and manage caseload in line with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to planning, development, and oversight of communication programs within the school

This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours weekly in a rewarding academic setting where expertise and compassion matter.
