Speech Language Pathologist in Kenosha, WI

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is perfect for an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY eager to gain or expand experience in a collaborative school environment. You’ll work at one or two elementary schools located conveniently close to each other, partnered with a lead SLP at each site for guidance and support. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week throughout the 2026-2027 school year, with the potential to renew the contract if it’s a great match.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA certification (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) eligibility required
- State licensure (or ability to obtain) for practicing SLP in schools
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for comprehensive student support
- Participate in student evaluation meetings and team consultations
- Document progress and maintain accurate case files per district and legal requirements
- Engage in regular communication with lead SLP and school personnel
