- School experience is highly valued, especially in elementary settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, design treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adhere to all documentation requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop goals and track improvements
- Provide both direct and consultative services as indicated by student needs and IEPs
- Engage in parent education and support as part of the ongoing care for students
