Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Kenner, LA

A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remainder of the school year, providing services three days per week. This role involves supporting a diverse K-12 caseload and collaborating with educational teams to enhance student communication and academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Louisiana Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC).
- Experience working in school settings with a K-12 student population.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to supporting student growth in an educational environment.
Location: Kenner, Louisiana
Employment Type: Contract – remainder of the school year
