Speech Language Pathologist in Kelso, WA

You’ll work directly with approximately 50 students, creating individualized plans to empower them with effective communication skills. Collaboration with teachers, special educators, and families will be key as you deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions within a supportive school environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Washington SLP License and ESA certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary students and moderate disabilities, highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP and IDEA compliance
- Proficient with progress monitoring and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs in speech and language
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students in both resource and RISE programs
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and success
