Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Kelso, WA
Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of students by providing dedicated onsite speech-language pathology services throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This role serves elementary, middle, and high school students, supporting a diverse group of learners with a wide range of communication needs and disabilities, from mild to severe.
As a valued professional, you’ll work full-time (Monday through Friday; 7 hours per day) within a supportive school environment. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and families to create and implement individualized education plans, fostering both academic and personal growth for your students.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Washington State SLP Certification (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role
- Comfort supervising and serving students with varying disability levels
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide 1:1 and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student success
- Maintain detailed records of services, progress, and performance
- Support generalization of communication skills in classroom settings and beyond
