Speech-Language Pathologist in Katy, TX
Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a vibrant educational environment located near Katy, TX. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP licensure required
- Bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
- Previous experience in school settings is a plus
- Ability to secure fingerprint background clearance as part of pre-employment credentialing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and evaluation services to a diverse student population (caseload and age groups to be determined)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ individual communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with district and state guidelines
- Participate in student-focused meetings, contributing insights on speech and language development
- Effectively manage schedules to ensure all students receive necessary services
