Speech and Language Pathologist in Katy, TX
Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based environment near Katy, TX. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), you’ll play a pivotal role in providing essential make-up therapy services. With a set schedule aligned to the academic calendar (Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day), you'll enjoy engaging with students while making a tangible difference in their educational journey. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC licensure required
- Experience in a school-based setting and working with diverse student age groups
- Comfortable delivering make-up therapy sessions and maintaining student engagement
- Organized and adaptable to dynamic caseloads across one or more school sites (number of assigned schools to be determined)
- Committed to compliance, including completing a fingerprint-based background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver make-up therapy sessions, focusing solely on direct student therapy
- Collaborate with educational professionals to facilitate an optimal environment for student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all therapy sessions
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel as needed
- Flexibly adapt to school-based schedules and needs for the academic year, from August 2026 through May 2027
