Qualifications & Experience:
- Current license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students, including those receiving special education services
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy planning
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, administrators, and families
- Adaptability and understanding of center-based programs and their unique service delivery models
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, with a focus on those in center-based programs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement treatment sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help students develop communication skills and access curriculum
- Document progress according to school and state requirements
- Support and consult with teachers and staff to maximize student success in inclusive settings
