Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Kalamazoo, Michigan

Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based roles.
- Familiarity or experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems is preferred.
- Comfort working with K-8 student populations.
- Ability to commit to a 4-day, 30-hour per week schedule through the end of the school year.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students requiring SLP services.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
- Document and report on student performance and service delivery.
- Provide direct therapy and consultative support, particularly for students using or being evaluated for AAC.
