Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Active Illinois SLP-CCC license
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based settings
- Ability to work with a diverse caseload covering a range of speech and language needs
- Exceptional communication skills and the desire to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment and therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with state guidelines
- Deliver both individual and group therapy in a school-based environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
