An immediate opportunity is now open for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to support elementary students in a dynamic school-based setting near Naperville, IL. This contract position offers a consistent school-year schedule and a manageable caseload—focused solely on elementary grades with a maximum of 35-40 students. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a Clinical Fellow, you’ll benefit from strong onsite support and supervision as you help students thrive in both general and special education classrooms, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current or eligible Illinois SLP licensure (Clinical Fellows are welcome; supervision is provided)
- Experience or confidence working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to support students in general education and special education settings, including those with ASD
- Commitment to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) during school hours
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of up to 40 elementary students
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, offering strategies for student success
- Engage in orientation and maintain a single school site as your home base
