Two Speech Pathologist opportunities are available at an elementary school located in Joliet, IL. These contract positions offer the chance to work with diverse student populations, including Supported Education, Multi-needs, and Speech-only caseloads.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students with varying needs.
- Manage 1.5 caseloads collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all students receive appropriate support.
- Document progress and communicate with educators and families to support student growth.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - CCC preferred).
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to handle a mixed caseload including Supported Education and Multi-needs students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule & Duration:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM.
- 37.5 hours per week guaranteed for full-time.
- Contract dates: ASAP start with positions available through May 22, 2026.
- Full-time (FTE 1.0) position extends through May 2026.
- Part-time positions are temporary through March 27, 2025.
