Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site speech/language assessments and create targeted therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy to students, addressing a variety of speech and language challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Monitor student progress, update records, and adjust interventions as needed
- Support a positive learning atmosphere and help students reach their communication goals
