Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for New Jersey
- CCC or CFY candidacy accepted
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse caseload of students, including those with mild to moderate speech/language needs
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with families, educators, and support staff
- Adapt therapy interventions to meet changing student needs
- Supervise and mentor SLP assistants as appropriate
- Participate in professional development and continuing education
