Speech Therapist in Jamaica, NY

In this full-time role, you’ll provide ten 30-minute sessions daily—totaling 50 sessions per week—guiding students as they build essential communication skills. Your expertise will help shape IEPs, establish and monitor achievable goals, handle documentation, and participate in meetings, all while engaging in a blend of direct and indirect service delivery.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure (CCC, CFY, or School certification accepted)
- Valid TSSLD required
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred
- Strong skills in IEP development, documentation, and team collaboration
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and therapy sessions
- Develop and implement IEPs and student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in case meetings with educators, families, and team SLPs
- Provide both direct therapeutic services and indirect consultative support
