Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Jacksonville, FL for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed SLP who is passionate about supporting students with communication, language, and speech development needs in an educational setting.

We are looking for a collaborative and student-focused professional who is committed to helping children succeed academically and socially through evidence-based speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Support students with articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, voice, and social communication needs

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Florida SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
